Prevention is key

According to U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) taking the recommended vaccines prior to travel is a proven way to prevent serious illnesses. Avoiding bug bites decreases your chance of getting ill while traveling. Travel with bug repellent creams, sprays, patches or bracelets to reduce your chances of insect bites. Food and water hygiene are also important factors in disease prevention.
