Dr. Swaminathan has been a practicing physician in the Columbia area for over 25 years.   He completed his Preventive Medicine residency at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, He has a Master's Degree in Public Health (M.P.H.) from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Health Management from IIHMR, Jaipur.  He placed first in the MCAT and earned his M.B.B.S. from JIPMER, Pondicherry, India.  He is a member of the International Society of Travel Medicine (ISTM).   He has been helping travelers for over 20 years.
